Requesting Recognition of Prior Institutional Accreditation
Institutional accreditation can be waived where it has already been granted by another recognised quality assurance agency. In this case, the following special procedures apply.
Has your institution been in operation for at least three years and graduated at least one cohort of students in any one of your programmes?
This criterion is in place to ensure the stability of new institutions before entering the accreditation process and to generate evidence of the required standards over time. If you are a newly founded institution, contact email@example.com for further guidance.
At what level(s) does the institution operate?
At what level(s) will you seek ECTE accreditation?
A separate application will need to be made for each programme once you have obtained institutional accreditation. The ECTE Qualification Framework can be found in Appendix A of the 'Standards and Guidelines' for ECTE accreditation.
