Requesting Initial Accreditation
Select this option if the ECTE is the only agency involved in your accreditation request.
Requesting Dual Accreditation
Special procedures apply to institutions who already have accreditation by a recognised quality assurance agency. See ‘Guidelines for Interagency Accreditation’ (https://ecte.eu/qa/guidelines/). The response to this question will also be applied to programme accreditation below.
Requesting Joint Accreditation
Special procedures apply to institutions are applying for accreditation by another quality assurance agency together with the ECTE. See ‘Guidelines for Interagency Accreditation’ (https://ecte.eu/qa/guidelines/). The response to this question will also be applied to programme accreditation below.
Requesting Transferred Accreditation

This criterion is in place to ensure the stability of new institutions before entering the accreditation process and to generate evidence of the required standards over time. If you are a newly founded institution, contact office@ecte.eu for further guidance.

Timeline

Following the approval of your accreditation application, you will need to 1) produce an Self-Evaluation Report (SER) and 2) receive a site visit before 3) final accreditation approval. Please indicate approximate dates for each of these events (these are not final and will entail negotiation with the ECTE). Hybrid site visit request
On-site Visits are the modus operandi for reviews. Some interviews may be conducted via video-conferencing upon approval by the Accreditation Director and Team leader (hybrid). Please check this box, if you are asking for such a hybrid visit

These include, for example: inform you about the work of ECTE, invite you to the General Assembly, ask your opinion, invoice you, contact you regarding visitations. The data is used by the employees and council members of the ECTE. We do not pass it on to third parties. As permitted by law, you have the right to be provided at any time with information free of charge about any of your personal data that is stored as well as its origin, the recipient and the purpose for which it has been processed. You also have the right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the above address if you have further questions on the topic of personal data.
